For the eighth time, music will take over Somerset House in Strand for eleven days. Previous performers included Florence + The Machine, The XX, The Prodigy, Elbow, Bastille, Calvin Harris, Laura Mvula or Lianne La Havas – and this year they’re about to be joined by a couple more phenomenal acts.

The performances will take place from the 6th to the 16th of July 2017. On the first night, we’ll be able to see Norah Jones for her only London show this year, performing a mix of her well-known songs as well as new ones. A reggae musician Damian Jr Gong Marley will take the stage over the day after. The Cinematic Orchestra, who collaborated with Beck and Solange, will play on the following day.

The fourth day will bring us a gig from Goldfrapp – synthpop masters whose show will be supported by technicolour visuals, making it a one-in-a-kind live music experience. A day after, Warpaint will shake the audiences up with their atmospheric rock, too. Then, Grammy-winning Robert Glasper who worked with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Erykah Badu will bring pop-infused jazz onstage.

Birdy, the youngest performer this year who released her first album at 14, will play a selection of her songs, too, and the next day Foster The People will perform – again, their only UK performance in 2017. A day after, a singer-songwriter whose music has recently been gaining traction, Tom Misch will also make a debut in Summer Series alongside special guests. The next slots will be taken by Mashrou’ Leila, an indie band from Beirut, and Songhoy Blues, desert blues punk pioneers from Mali.

Ticket prices start at £29.50 but every show is priced individually. For £20 more, you can also get an enhanced ticket that gives you the access to West Wing Bar and a free drink at arrival. The bookings will open this Friday, 24th of March.
