John Legend has announced the details of his European arena tour – including 9 dates in the UK. The artist will play a London show in September.
The singer-songwriter and producer, who has received 10 Grammy Awards and has worked on an award-winning soundtrack for the musical La La Land (which won six Oscars, including the ones for the best score and the best song), has released Darkness and Light in December, which is promoted by the single Love Me Now. He has also covered the title song Beauty and the Beast with Ariana Grande for the new Disney remake.
He’ll play 9 gigs in the UK: starting in Glasgow, through Newcastle, Nottingham, London, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff to Birmingham.
He’s bringing his Darkness and Light Tour to the O2 Arena on the 12th of September. You’ll be able to get tickets during the Live Nation presale tomorrow at 9am if you’ve got the account (you can just sign up for it beforehand). The general sale will open the day after, on Friday, the 31st of March at 9am.
